Steve Winwood – Roll With It [1988]

“Roll with It“, un brano in perfetto stile Stax/Motown, venne estratto come singolo dall’album omonimo di Steve Winwood del 1988. Il singolo arrivava al #1 della classifica Billboard Hot 100 nell’estate di quell’anno rimanendo in testa per quattro settimane. “Roll with It” ottenne poi due ‘Nomination’ ai Grammy Awards del 1989: Record of the Year e Best Male Pop Vocal Performance ed anche l’album “Roll with It” ebbe una ‘Nomination’ quale Album of the Year. Il magnifico video-clip che accompagnò la promozione del disco è opera del regista cinematografico David Fincher.
