Kenneth ‘Ken’ Loach (Nuneaton, 17 giugno 1936) è un regista inglese – vincitore di due Palme d’Oro, una al Festival di Cannes nel 2006 (“Il vento che accarezza l’erba”) e una nel 2016 (“Io, Daniel Blake”), e il Leone d’Oro alla Carriera alla Mostra del Cinema di Venezia nel 1994 – che ha dedicato la sua opera cinematografica alla descrizione delle condizioni di vita dei ceti meno abbienti. Nel 2014 ha ricevuto l’Orso d’Oro alla carriera al Festival internazionale del cinema di Berlino.
